The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) hereby informs the public that, pursuant to a resolution duly adopted by its Executive Committee in the lawful exercise of its statutory and administrative mandate, the appointment of Mr Mohamed Kallon as Head Coach of the Sierra Leone National Men’s Team, Leone Stars, has been terminated with immediate effect.
This determination follows due deliberation and a considered assessment of the technical, administrative, and strategic imperatives of the national team, with the Executive Committee concluding that a change in leadership is necessary in furtherance of the best interests of the Association and the game of football in Sierra Leone.
Accordingly, Mr Kallon ceases to hold, act, or be recognised in the capacity of Head Coach with effect from the date hereof, and all consequential administrative measures shall be undertaken in that regard.The SLFA acknowledges his service and contribution during his tenure and extends its best wishes for his future professional endeavours.Lamin Tarawalie
