The District Challenge, organized by SaloneAdventures travel and tours, was launched in the Northern district of Makeni on Thursday. This initiative, in partnership with Ghanaian motorbike adventurer Flying Flags, is dedicated to showcasing Sierra Leone’s appeal to a global audience.
Upon their arrival in Makeni city on Thursday, the team was warmly welcomed by Victoria Kamara, a professional tour guide from Visit Makeni, and the staff of Wusum Hotel, one of the initiative’s sponsor. The evening featured an exciting cultural performance during dinner.
Throughout their journey, the team will explore tourism attractions, capture stories, and promote Makeni as an attractive tourist destination.
The ultimate goal of the District Challenge is to travel to every district in Sierra Leone, sharing positive content along the way. This endeavor is backed by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, AYV Media Empire, Wusum Hotel, and Vision Investment.
