EyeWitnessNewsSL is delighted to announce the imminent launch of its online radio station, EyeWitnessNews Radio. After a successful test transmission, the station will begin broadcasting live programs to audiences all over the world through its website and an upcoming android app.
EyeWitnessNews aims to become a leader in breaking and unbiased news reports, with a particular emphasis on training and equipping Sierra Leoneans to share their stories through the medium of radio, video, text and audio.
The station is committed to empowering ordinary citizens, from university students to market women, to become voices for change and progress in their communities.
Through their computers and reliable internet connections, citizens from any part of the world can host different programs on EyeWitness Radio and share their experiences on a global scale. The station believes that by providing a platform for diverse voices, it can help to bridge cultural divides and promote greater understanding and cooperation between people of different backgrounds.
The new android app will allow people to listen EyeWitnessNews radio on the go, so they never have to miss a broadcast. The online radio will also be accessible on Radio Garden to millions of listeners.
