Sierra Leonean actress, movie producer, and CEO of Prime International Productions, Winstina Taylor, delighted attendees at the premiere of her latest film, ‘Mama’s Last Dance,’ by revealing her new title as Dr. Winstina Taylor.
Taylor disclosed at the event held at the BSK Cultural Center located at 3701 Branch Avenue, Suite 1000, Hillcrest, Maryland, USA on May 11, that she had completed her studies and attained a Doctorate in Nursing. Expressing gratitude to her inspirational mother for encouraging her to pursue her educational goals, Taylor thanked her parents and supporters for their unwavering backing throughout her journey. The premiere, coinciding with Mother’s Day, attracted diverse guests from Sierra Leone and beyond, with some travelling long distances to attend the sold-out event.
Notable figures including musicians, actors, and business community members from the DMV area were present, with Pastor David Vandy, who was featured in the film, revealing the cast list on stage. Additionally, rapper YOK 7, Taylor’s husband, delivered a captivating performance of the movie’s soundtrack alongside popular Sierra Leonean artist Rozzay.
