ICONA London, one of Sierra Leone’s leading electrical and electronics appliance company, has officially opened a new branch on Wilkinson Road, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion across the country.

The opening ceremony, held on Saturday, 17th January 2026, attracted customers, business partners, and members of the public, underscoring ICONA London’s growing reputation as a trusted provider of quality electrical and electronic appliances in Sierra Leone.

Speaking at the event, Country Manager of ICONA, Jayesh Pardhi, told the gathering that the new Wilkinson Road outlet offers a wide range of modern household and commercial appliances, including televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, sound systems, and other electronic equipment from internationally recognized brands. He said the expansion aims to bring quality products closer to customers while enhancing convenience and accessibility in one of Freetown’s busiest commercial corridors.

Mr. Pardhi highlighted that the new branch reflects ICONA London’s commitment to meeting the increasing demand for reliable and affordable electrical appliances, while also contributing to local economic growth through job creation and improved customer service delivery.

The Marketing Manager of ICONA Kai expressed gratitude to the media, customers who attended the opening ceremony, noting that the presence of a well-stocked electronics store along Wilkinson Road would reduce travel time and provide more purchasing options within the city. “With the launch of this new branch, ICONA London continues to strengthen its position as a leading player in Sierra Leone’s electricals and electronics sector, reaffirming ICONA’s mission to deliver quality, innovation, and value to its growing customer base,” the marketing manager told the gathering.

In his contribution, Murtala Mohamed Kamara, media consultant said the company has fifteen branches in Sierra Leone and indicated that further expansion plans are underway as part of its long-term strategy to serve more communities across the country.
