Conakry, Guinea – 4th September 2025 – Smart Africa and the Government of the Republic of Guinea are pleased to announce that the 7th edition of the highly anticipated Transform Africa Summit (TAS25) will take place from November 12 to 14, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Conakry, under the theme “AI for Africa: Innovate Locally, Impact Globally.”
As Africa’s premier annual technology and innovation forum, the Summit continues to catalyze digital transformation across the continent by fostering collaboration between governments, businesses, and international organizations.
This edition marks the first time TAS will be hosted in West Africa, reaffirming Guinea’s readiness to play a central role in Africa’s digital agenda. The last summit, held in Zimbabwe in 2023, attracted five Heads of State, 44 ministers, and thousands of delegates from across Africa and beyond.
Organized by the Smart Africa Alliance in partnership with the Government of Guinea, TAS25 has cemented its role as a pivotal platform for shaping Africa’s digital future, accelerating socio-economic development, and promoting the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
With a strong emphasis on emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI), this year’s Summit will feature high-level panels, workshops, training sessions, and an innovation-driven exhibition. Participants will gain insights into how AI can transform governance, education, health, finance, and entrepreneurship while ensuring inclusivity and ethical practices.
“AI represents Africa’s opportunity to innovate locally and impact globally. The Transform Africa Summit is where Africa will showcase its digital leadership to the world”, Said Mr. Lacina Koné, Director General/CEO of Smart Africa.
“Hosting the Transform Africa Summit in Conakry is a historic moment for Guinea. It is our chance to showcase the bold vision of Simandou 2040, highlight our digital dynamism, and position our nation as a key hub of innovation and collaboration for Africa and the world,” commented Hon. Rose Pola Pricemou, Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Digital Economy of the Republic of Guinea.
Smart Africa invites stakeholders from across the continent and beyond to join this landmark event and contribute to Africa’s digital revolution. Registration details and further updates will be available soon on the official Transform Africa Summit website.
