The Embassy of the Republic of Liberia in Sierra Leone, together with its partners, will host a two-day economic fair on December 14-15, 2024, in Monrovia.
This event aims to unite participants from the Mano River Union (MRU) countries and ECOWAS to promote the ARREST Agenda, a five-year 6-pillar development plan led by His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of Liberia.
The Economic Fair will stress the importance of climate change adaptation as a key driver for industrialization, job creation, and employment, leveraging the power of education and technology.
The two-day economic fair offers an opportunity to advance the ARREST Agenda as an engine for impact and promote collaboration between Liberia, Sierra Leone, and beyond. By showcasing each nation’s potential, the event aims to inspire innovative solutions for regional economic growth and sustainable development.
Planning has been ongoing in Monrovia and Freetown to ensure a successful event. The ARREST Agenda print and online Magazine and also website will be unveiled.
The event is co-organized by SaloneAdventures, SOAR – METS Afrika4D, Global: KAAK-WRJ Enterprise. The fair will feature exhibition booths and cultural performances as well as discussions on President Boakai’s ARREST agenda.
